Ukrainian Frontline Robotics and Germany’s Quantum Systems launch joint drone manufacturing venture

Ukrainian Frontline Robotics and German Quantum Systems have announced the creation of a joint defense enterprise, Quantum Frontline Industries.

This was reported in a statement by the company’s press service.

The project involves the launch of Europe’s first fully automated industrial line for the production of drones for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The new venture in Germany will mass-produce the Zoom and Linza drones developed by Frontline Robotics, which are already in use on the front lines.

All manufactured robotic systems will be supplied to the Ukrainian Armed Forces in quantities determined by the Ministry of Defense. In addition, the companies plan to create jobs for Ukrainians in Germany.

Quantum Systems will be responsible for industrial infrastructure and administrative support, while Frontline Robotics will provide a manufacturing license and ensure staff training and instruction.

The companies note that the cooperation will allow for the rapid scaling of serial production of drones, which is difficult to implement within Ukraine in the context of the war.

According to Frontline Robotics CEO Yevhen Tretiak, the creation of a joint venture is an important step towards providing the Ukrainian military with thousands of drones.

Quantum Systems emphasized that Ukraine’s experience in drone warfare, combined with German engineering, could change the approach to defense industry production.

As a reminder, in November 2025, Quantum Systems  raised its valuation to €3 billion in a new round of financing.
