Next year could be a record-breaking one for Apple in terms of announcements. According to analyst Ryan Christoffel in an article for 9to5Mac, the tech giant is preparing to release around 25 new products.
The company’s strategy involves releases in various segments, from budget laptops to foldable smartphones.
Spring season
The first half of 2026 will be unusually busy. A whole range of devices aimed at the mass market and the Smart Home ecosystem are expected to be launched:
-
iPhone 17e — a budget-friendly new model with an A19 chip and Center Stage camera.
-
Affordable MacBook — a new model based on the A-series processor (similar to the iPhone).
-
HomePod Touch — a device with a 7-inch touchscreen that will serve as a hub for controlling your home with the updated Siri.
-
Updates to tablets and accessories — the basic iPad and iPad Air based on M4, as well as AirTag 2 with improved range.
Summer and fall
In the summer, Apple will traditionally focus on software — iOS 27 and macOS 27 — but the real explosion of new products is planned for the fall:
-
iPhone Fold — the first foldable smartphone in a “book” format, with a titanium body and a crease-free screen.
-
The iPhone 18 Pro / Pro Max will feature an A20 Pro chip and Face ID under the display.
-
MacBook Pro M6 will undergo a radical redesign — laptops will become thinner, lighter, and will feature touchscreen OLED panels for the first time.
-
AirPods Pro 3 — headphones with built-in cameras to support visual artificial intelligence features.
New niches
In addition to updating its existing product lines, Apple plans to expand into new categories: smart speakers and home security devices.
We are talking about Apple Glasses — a lightweight accessory that will work in conjunction with the iPhone, as well as its own smart camera and video intercom. The latter will be deeply integrated into the HomeKit ecosystem and will support Face ID technology for visitor identification.
Overall, the plan for 2026 shows that Apple is trying to cover as many price categories as possible while maintaining its status as an innovator in the premium segment.
