Ukrainian DoD Solution and Dutch Axelera AI will develop AI for defense systems

DoD Solution та Axelera AI announced a strategic partnership in the field of defense technologies.

The companies plan to develop onboard computing solutions with artificial intelligence to be used in autonomous defense systems.

What is known about the collaboration between DoD Solution and Axelera AI

In the partnership, the companies will combine DoD Solution’s autonomous AURA AI platform with Axelera AI’s acceleration technologies. 

The initial focus of the collaboration will be creating AI for high-speed interceptors. The companies note that such systems must process sensor data, recognize targets, perform tracking, navigation and guidance within milliseconds.

DoDSolution explains that modern autonomous systems face limitations of onboard computing power, while using external data processing is not always possible in conditions of no GPS or stable connection.

As part of the partnership, DoD Solution will integrate Axelera AI’s Metis M.2 module into its own autonomous artificial intelligence platform AURA AI.

This is expected to enable the execution of resource-intensive tasks, including high-speed target recognition and tracking, sensor data fusion, and autonomous guidance.

The companies will jointly carry out integration, testing and validation of the technologies, defining operational scenarios for the further commercial deployment of the integrated solutions.

Recall that in early June 2026 DoD Solution raised investment as part of a Pre-seed round from the American-Ukrainian venture fund Network.VC Defense. 

DoD Solution announced the opening of a Pre-seed round in March 2026. The startup’s CEO Roman Hapachylo told AIN that they plan to raise €1 mln in investment.
