SoftServe acquired Indian IT company NewVision. What we know about the deal

Ukrainian IT company SoftServe announced the acquisition of the Indian company NewVision Software.

What is known about the deal

SoftServe says the acquisition of NewVision will expand the company’s technological capabilities, particularly in automation, workflow construction and data work. 

The company will also strengthen its presence in India, where teams will support large international projects.

After the deal, more than 700 engineers will join SoftServe. The company notes this will help expand global presence and strengthen client support during the implementation of complex digital transformation projects.

«Together we will be able to offer clients broader capabilities, greater scale and help implement complex technology projects faster, while maintaining the partnership approach our teams are known for,» — said SoftServe CEO Harri Propper.

After the deal is completed, NewVision CEO Kapil Hodani, Chief Operating Officer Balan Ramasvami and the current management team will remain in their positions.

The company will continue to operate under the NewVision brand as a subsidiary of SoftServe.
