Voting for the Green Awards is now closed. The Green Awards commemorate the most outstanding completed LIFE projects since 1992 and they form one of the highlights of the LIFE programme’s 25th anniversary celebrations. The winners, who have been selected via a public vote on Facebook, will be announced in three categories – Environment; Nature and biodiversity; and Climate Action. The award ceremony takes place in Brussels on the evening of 30 May 2017 as part of EU Green Week – a key event in the European environment policy calendar attracting policymakers, leading environmentalists, stakeholders and other interested parties from across Europe and the globe. The theme of this year’s Green Week is “Green jobs for a greener future”.
