OpenAI has introduced a new GPT Image 1.5 model that runs four times faster

OpenAI has released an updated version of ChatGPT Images and a new GPT Image 1.5 model that can create images faster and edit them more accurately.

ChatGPT Images runs on the flagship GPT Image 1.5 model. 

• The model can edit images more accurately — changing only the elements specified by the user while preserving lighting, composition, and people’s appearance.
• The new model performs complex creative transformations better — changing layouts, adding text, and other elements. This was one of the problems with previous models. The updated ChatGPT Images can work more accurately with text elements, small and dense text.
• Working with instructions has also improved, as the model more accurately follows user requests and creates complex compositions with correct relationships between objects.

The company notes that the feature makes realistic changes to clothing or hairstyles, as well as stylistic transformations that preserve the main details of the original.

For user convenience, a separate Images section has appeared in the ChatGPT sidebar. It offers ready-made filters and templates for creating content without the need to enter text queries.
