Meta has begun testing the StoryKit app, which uses artificial intelligence to create personalized stories for children.

What StoryKit is and how it works
According to the publication, StoryKit is designed to create personalized children’s stories using artificial intelligence. The app allows you to choose characters, the setting, the moral of the story and the musical accompaniment.
To create a story the user first selects the main character. It can be created, for example, from a photo of a favorite toy or a person.
After that, you need to describe the world of the upcoming story and choose a theme or value to be embedded in the plot, such as kindness, bravery or compassion.

The company noted that StoryKit has no social features and uses safety filters for working with artificial intelligence.
Meta confirmed to TechCrunch that it is currently testing the service in selected countries to see how parents will receive it.
Earlier in July Meta launched a new app Pocket, which allows creating small interactive apps and games using text prompts to artificial intelligence.
The launch took place without an official announcement, which may be an informal start of an experimental phase.
