Lithuanian AI Startup Sintra secures $17M to scale AI helpers for small businesses

Sintra, a rapidly growing Lithuanian AI startup, has raised $17 million in Seed funding to accelerate its mission of empowering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with intuitive, AI-powered teammates. The round was led by Earlybird VC, with participation from Inovo, Practica Capital, and several prominent angel investors.

About Sintra

• Founded just over a year ago, Sintra has gone from a weekend side project to a $12 million ARR business, serving more than 40,000 paying customers across 100+ countries. The platform helps small business owners handle core tasks—like social media management, customer support, and administrative workflows—by offering a suite of AI “helpers” that integrate directly with popular tools such as Facebook, Gmail, and Google Calendar. 
• Each AI helper is powered by the company’s proprietary Brain AI layer, which learns a business’s unique context to deliver increasingly personalized and autonomous support. 
• CEO Chris Sidlauskas also emphasizes that the goal isn’t to replace human workers, but to support solo entrepreneurs and small teams who lack access to dedicated staff. 

Investment Details

• The $17 million Seed round was led by Earlybird VC, one of Europe’s most active early-stage venture capital firms, known for backing breakout tech companies like N26, UiPath, and Aiven. Inovo, a Central and Eastern European fund with a strong focus on high-growth startups from the region, also participated. 
• Practica Capital, a Lithuania-based early-stage VC with deep ties to the local tech ecosystem, added its support as well. 
• Several high-profile angel investors—many with backgrounds in SaaS, AI, and international expansion—rounded out the round.

The fresh capital will be used to expand Sintra’s product and engineering teams, enabling the company to refine its AI helpers and scale the platform’s infrastructure. With this funding, Sintra aims to bring its vision of an “AI business in a box” to millions more businesses around the world—proving that global impact can begin in a Vilnius garage and stretch far beyond.
