SIMPLA, a capacity building action funded under H2020 with an approach similar to the one used in Locations, supports local authorities in the harmonized development of their strategic energy and mobility plans, primarily SEAPs (Sustainable Energy Action Plan) and SUMPs (Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans).
The project targets small and medium-sized municipalities with a population between 50.000 and 350.000 inhabitants proposing a four-step approach to foster harmonised planning.
Dedicated training and coaching sessions, based on a sound methodology devised at transnational level, lead to the joint development of sustainable energy and mobility plans.
