Signatures without unnecessary paperwork. Estonian eID Easy attracts €1.3 million in investment

Estonian company eID Easy, a global provider of API platforms for electronic identification and electronic signatures, announced the successful closing of a seed round of financing in the amount of €1.3 million.

This was reported by eID to AIN.

  • The round was led by venture capital firm DeepIE Ventures with the participation of both existing and new investors, including Boole Syndicate. The total amount of funds raised by the company has now reached €2.4 million.

  • eID Easy, which recently relocated its business from Estonia to Ireland, creates seamless digital solutions that replace outdated paper-based processes.

  • The platform ensures the reliability, security, and validity of electronic signatures based on identification. The company leverages Estonia’s innovative experience in digital governance to reduce friction in business processes by enabling customers to generate verifiable electronic identifications, signatures, and seals.

The funds raised will be used to expand the team across Europe, as well as to invest in additional product development and sales.

Cooperation with Diia 

eID has also become the first provider in the EU to offer the option of signing documents using Diia.Signature.

Thanks to the integration of this service via the eID Easy widget, Ukrainians abroad can now use Diia.Signature to certify legally valid documents within the EU.

Currently, eight of the world’s ten leading electronic signature platforms use eID Easy solutions.
