The Estonian-Ukrainian startup DoD Solution raised investment as part of a pre-seed round from the US-Ukrainian venture fund Network.VC Defense.
The fund informed AIN about this.
DoD Solution announced the opening of a pre-seed round in March 2026. The startup’s CEO Roman Hapachylo told AIN that they plan to raise €1 million in investment.
What is the investment amount
The fund noted that it does not disclose the terms of individual investment deals.
“Generally, the fund’s initial investments start at $25,000, and further financing can reach $100,000 and more depending on the startup’s growth dynamics, achievement of key metrics, and its capital-raising needs,” — said Network.VC Defense.
They added that the investment was made in a standalone format.
How the funds will be used
The raised financing will be directed to developing the AURA platform and the AI autonomy stack, creating new high-performance single-board computers for UAVs and interceptor drones, as well as advancing swarm interaction and coordination technologies for unmanned systems.
In addition, the funds will be used to scale the business, enter international markets, and expand cooperation with drone manufacturers and defense partners.
More about DoD Solution
DoD Solution is an Estonian-Ukrainian Defense Tech startup founded in 2023 by Lviv entrepreneurs Ivan Oleksii and Nazar Kravchuk.
The company creates embedded artificial intelligence platforms and onboard computing for unmanned systems operating in challenging conditions.
The startup also develops hardware and software that allow unmanned and robotic systems to navigate, perceive, and act when GPS is unavailable and electronic warfare measures are present.
More about Network.VC Defense
Network.VC Defense is a US-Ukrainian
venture fund headquartered in Silicon Valley. It specializes in investments in defense and dual-use technologies.
The co-founders are Oleksandr Soroka, Valerii Omelchenko, Kel Doich and Jeff Volles.
The fund’s portfolio includes over 27 startups, among them SWARMER,
Bavovna.AI, Panoptes, Sierra Turbines, and others.
Overall, the fund operates under two investment models:
- classic venture model;
- syndicate investments.
The fund was previously called Oppenheimer, but later renamed to Network.VC Defense.
The company links this decision to further development and the integration of Oppenheimer into the Network.VC ecosystem.
“This allowed us to optimize legal and operational processes within international activities, and also to more clearly emphasize our specialization in investments in defense and dual-use technologies. At the same time, the team, investment approach and strategic priorities of the fund have remained unchanged,” — explained Network.VC Defense.
Recall that in April 2026 DoD Solution raised investment from the Ukrainian fund Angel One Fund through syndicated deals.
The funds will go to platform development, the creation of new computers for UAVs and interceptor drones, scaling, entering international markets, and expanding cooperation with partners.
