Cofounder VC launches to support early-stage growth companies with up to €3M investment

Cofounder VC has announced the launch of a new early growth-stage fund that continues the investment activity of the CofounderZone team. The Warsaw-based fund targets dynamically growing technology companies with proven market validation and recurring revenue. It offers these companies both capital and hands-on operational support to help them scale up more quickly.

The fund shared the news with AIN via a press release.

Cofounder VC’s investment strategy

Cofounder VC focuses on companies that have validated their products in the market, achieved measurable recurring revenue, and require external capital and proven operational support to grow.

  • Target companies: sector-agnostic, with preference for business process digitization, sustainability and health tech (based on the team’s experience).
  • Revenue threshold: companies generating at least €100,000–200,000 MRR.
  • Profitability: profitable or close to break-even.
  • Check size: €1–3 million per company.
  • Portfolio: planned investment in approximately eight companies.
  • Additional resources: access to a network of 250+ business angels for deal sourcing and co-investment.

“Our goal is to bridge the gap between seed financing and later-stage growth capital. We see limited interest from many international VCs in CEE  region, which leaves a gap for promising companies. We welcome projects that may be overlooked by large foreign funds but have strong potential to scale — and we’re ready to partner with teams that have already demonstrated early commercial success and now want to build something much bigger,” says Michal Sioda, General Partner at Cofounder VC.
