
Ukrainian defense tech Aeromotors secures €467,500 investment to expand drone motor production in the EU
Aeromotors, a Ukrainian manufacturer of drone motors, has raised €467,500 (SEK 5.1 million) from Swedishi Investment company Front Ventures. The funds will support Aeromotors in expanding its factory to expand production capacity and establish new production units and manufacturing agreements within the EU.

Aeromotors operates a fully integrated in-house production process, handling everything from CNC milling of motor components to assembly, balancing, and final inspection, ensuring quality and control over the supply chain. The company serves customers in Ukraine and two NATO countries and aims to expand further in the European market.
Investment details
The round was backed by Front Ventures, a Swedish investment company focused on supporting companies in the defense and fintech sectors. It provides financing and acts as a catalyst during the growth phase of businesses.
“Front Ventures will also support Aeromotors in establishing new production units and manufacturing agreements within the EU. Thanks to the positive outcome of our recently closed share issue, we can now accelerate the pace and make more strategic investments in the defense sector,” says Jonas Malmgren, CEO of Front Ventures.
According to the company, the investment is strategically important for Front Ventures, providing access to European-manufactured drone engines for its joint venture Drönarfabriken Scandinavian X, while contributing to Europe’s independence in critical defense technology.
