Czech Veriteus raises €40k from Czech Founders VC to advance AI-powered fraud detection
Veriteus, a Czech startup which develops AI powered tools that help organizations detect fraudulent behavior in time, has secured€40,000 convertible loan from Czech Founders VC as part of the Sherpa accelerator program.
About Veriteus
-
Veriteus is built on a combination of AI, behavioral science, and experience from security processes. Detection of false statements takes place through three main modules: analysis of form responses, voice, and video. Each of them works independently, but they can be combined into an integrated solution.
-
The startup has already completed the first operational version of its questionnaire module and is testing voice analysis on real data from call centers. The first pilot is running with a Czech insurance company, and joint projects with other partners from the insurance and security sectors are under discussion.
“Most decision-making in companies and security is based on intuition and routine. We’re bringing a tool that identifies risky statements in real-time – whether it’s in written responses, voice patterns, or non-verbal cues,” says Tomas Sebesta, CSO and co-founder of Veriteus Technology.
