Ukrainian startup Uniot raised $25k in investments at YEP Accelerator Demo Day
Ukrainian startup Uniot, which develops solutions in the field of the Internet of Things (IoT), won YEP Accelerator Demo Day and received the grand prize — $25,000 in non-equity investments. This was reported to AIN by representatives of the acceleration program.
The team plans to use the funds raised to complete the development of the platform for stable release, marketing, user acquisition, participation in industry conferences, development of the developer community, and preparation for scaling and further investment attraction.
In addition to the grant, Uniot will also join the community of Ukrainian founders in the US — MZP League, and will be included in the deal flow list of the global Plug and Play Tech Center.
Uniot was the winner among nine startups in the summer batch of the YEP accelerator. CaseResearchAI, MyHome, Codewius, Obriy.ai, Markit.now, HEFT, Atelier Automatique, and DjookyX also presented their solutions at the Demo Day finals. Additional awards included tickets to Slush, a residency at LIFT99, and a pass to the IT Arena semifinals.

The Demo Day jury consisted of representatives from SMOK Ventures, Geek Ventures, Flyer One Ventures, ZAS Ventures, EIT Community, and Plug and Play. Dan Tyre, one of HubSpot’s first employees and a YEP mentor, was a special guest who called on investors to more actively support Ukrainian startups.

The YEP acceleration program is implemented with the support of UMAEF’s u.ventures and partners — Ukrainian Startup Fund, Cisco, Genesis, and Lift99 Kyiv Hub.
