Ukrainian InSoft.Partners signs three agreements at once — sale, investment, and exit from the product
As AIN has learned, investment company InSoft.Partners has concluded three new deals involving its portfolio assets.
The holding company sold Perfsol, increased its stake in Inoxoft, and completed the sale of the Upsky spin-off product. AIN provides the details.
Merger of Indeema and Perfsol
Perfsol was acquired by Indeema, which was formed as a result of the merger between Indeema Software and Vakoms. Perfsol’s founders, Volodymyr Khodonovych and Mykola Breslavskyi, are moving to Indeema and becoming junior partners. The process of integrating the team into the new structure is currently underway.
Indeema works in the field of IoT and embedded solutions, while Perfsol was involved in implementing AI technologies in its clients’ business processes. According to the parties, their areas of expertise have the potential to reinforce each other.
“In line with the strategy announced by InSoft.Partners in 2024, we are now less active in the market for investments in new companies, but more focused on optimizing our existing portfolio. That is why we are now more actively involved in these businesses, increasing our share where we see opportunities for greater synergy, or helping with the merger of complementary companies,” commented Vitalii Gorovyi.
Increased stake in Inoxoft
The holding also increased its stake in Inoxoft, a custom software development company. The company has been operating since 2014 and has about 180 employees in three countries: Ukraine, Poland, and the United States.
InSoft.Partners first invested in Inoxoft on March 1, 2022, shortly after the start of the full-scale invasion. At that time, the investment was of a supportive nature.
“Our desire to reinvest in Inoxoft coincided with the decision of co-founder Nazar Kvartalny to leave the business. We maintain our partnership and continue to cooperate,” said Gorovyi.
Sale of the Upsky spin-off product
The third deal was the sale of the Upsky spin-off product, which was developed by Perfsol within its AI laboratory. The buyer was the Ukrainian product company Gigradar.
Upsky was originally created for Perfsol’s internal needs, but over time, the product gained external users. After the sale of Perfsol to Indeema, the founders decided to focus on services, so the sale of Upsky was the final stage of this transition.
