Ukraine and Norway launches joint production of Ukrainian drones

Ukraine and Norway will launch joint production of Ukrainian drones.

This was reported by the Ministry of Defense.

The agreement on joint production was signed by the defense ministers of both countries on November 30, 2025.

According to Ukrainian Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal, this decision will help scale Ukraine’s capabilities and strengthen its defense potential.

The pilot production line is scheduled to open in 2026. At the same time, the parties will work on increasing production capacity.

“Ukraine will share its experience and innovations with Norway. In turn, we will receive a strong production platform that will provide our soldiers with modern drones, as well as scientific, research, and design cooperation with leading Norwegian institutions,” said Defense Minister Shmyhal.

According to Shmygal, production volumes could reach several thousand units per month. The interceptors manufactured in the UK will be transferred to Ukraine to strengthen its airspace defense.
