Latvian sport-tech startup Tournated raises $750k to expand globally

Tournated, a Latvian sport-tech startup, has closed a $750,000 strategic funding round to grow globally. The round was backed by Scandiweb, Shijiazhuang Chaofeng Sports and an international padel organization.

About Tournated

• Tournated, founded in 2023 by Nikita Ribakovs, is a Latvian all-in-one, white-label sports management SaaS platform often dubbed the “Shopify for Sports Management.” 

• It enables sports federations, clubs, and organizations to launch and manage their own branded digital platforms with full operational control.

• Earlier this year, Tournated secured €50,000 investments from LatBAN;

The round was backed by Scandiweb, Shijiazhuang Chaofeng Sports and an international padel organization.

• Scandiweb is a global e-commerce and digital agency founded in 2003 in Riga. Known as the world’s largest Adobe Commerce/Magento service provider and the creator of the open-source ScandiPWA platform, the company now brings together over 600 experts across 35+ countries.

With new funding, Tournated plans fo expand across the Americas and Asia, scale its infrastructure with Scandiweb’s support, strengthen its role in racket sports, and empower more federations to launch digital ecosystems.
