Tencore, a Ukrainian manufacturer of robotic platforms, has raised almost $4M from MITS Capital

The Ukrainian-American investment group MITS Capital has invested $3.74 million in Tencore, a Ukrainian company that develops multifunctional ground robotic systems. MITS Capital informed AIN about the deal.

Tencore plans to use the funds raised to expand production and R&D. The company has now produced more than 800 TerMIT robotic platforms codified to NATO standards and tested on the battlefield. The company plans to increase production to 2,000 units by the end of 2025.

The investment was made through the Diia.City legal regime directly into Tencore’s legal entity in Ukraine. According to Perry Boyle, CEO and co-founder of MITS Capital, this is the first deal between a US investor and a Ukrainian defense technology company to be concluded under this mechanism.

  • Since the beginning of the year, more than 300 defense technology companies have joined Diia.City.

  • MITS Capital has been operating since 2024 and specializes in investments in Ukrainian defense technologies. The group’s portfolio includes 11 companies.

  • Tencore develops robotic platforms for logistics, evacuation, engineering, and fire support at the front. The company cooperates with the Ukrainian military to adapt solutions to combat conditions.

Earlier, ARX Robotics, a German manufacturer of robotic systems, joined the Diia.City legal regime and decided to transfer part of its production and development processes to Ukraine.

As a reminder, robotic units will be deployed to the frontline as part of the Armed Forces combat brigades. The main suppliers of ground-based robotic systems are Ukrainian companies that have adapted their products to the conditions of modern warfare and the recommendations of the Defense Forces’ combat units.
