
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will be released on PlayStation 5 in November. The game will fully support PS5 capabilities
Ukrainian studio GSC Game World has announced the release date for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl on PlayStation 5. The game will be available on Sony’s console on November 20, 2025, and will fully support PS5 features: Adaptive Triggers, Haptic Feedback, backlighting, touchpad gestures, Tempest 3D Audio, and the trophy system.

The digital version is now available for pre-order, with exclusive bonuses — unique items for survival and exploration of the Zone. Among them are the Veteran rifle and the Campfire content.

For fans of physical copies, a standard edition is available, and in early 2026, a special Habar Pack will be released with all the cult items from the Ultimate Edition.

Along with the announcement, the studio showed a new trailer demonstrating the features of the game on PS5: detailed graphics, improved interaction with the environment, and interactive elements.
Earlier, GSC Game World announced a future update to Unreal Engine 5.5.4, which should improve the game’s optimization, and shared other plans for new features.
