Czech Soulmates Ventures leads £1.6M Seed round in EV charging startup Rightcharge

Rightcharge, a London-based startup that simplifies fleet EV charging payments, has raised £1.6 million in seed funding to accelerate fleet electrification across Europe. The round was led by Czech Soulmates Ventures, with participation from Blackwood Ventures, UnrulyCapital and Purple Ventures.

About Rightcharge

  • Rightcharge is a UK-based platform that simplifies electric vehicle (EV) charging for both drivers and fleets. Founded by Charlie Cook, the company provides tools to manage home, workplace, and public charging in one place.

  • Its software automates reimbursement for home charging, offers unified billing for fleet operators, and enables access to a wide network of public charge points across the UK. Rightcharge aims to make the transition to electric mobility more efficient and cost-effective for businesses and individuals.

“Rightcharge started life as a business to help individuals make the switch to EV. However, we realised as we grew that businesses are in fact the largest buyers of EVs, and there are some big challenges slowing down their switch. We made the decision to focus Rightcharge on tackling this problem,” says Charlie Cook, founder & CEO at Rightcharge.
