Finnish startup Rebelvolt secures funding from Gorilla Capital to accelerate off-grid energy solutions

Rebelvolt, a Finnish startup redefining off-grid energy with its battery-based e-Generator, has secured funding from Gorilla Capital Fund III. JMS Consulting Oy, UAV OÜ and Meri Heikkinen, also, participated in the funding round.

The round was led by Gorilla Capital and backed by JMS Consulting Oy, UAV OÜ and Meri Heikkinen. The exact amount of the deal was left undisclosed.

• Gorilla Capital, one of the Nordics’ most active early-stage investors, invests €50,000 to €1 million per startup, typically as the first institutional funding. The firm usually co-invest with business angels and offer guidance, mentoring, and a learning environment post-investment.

• Previously, Gorilla Capital invested in Mjuk, Planmark, Serviceform, Orijin, Lola Panda, Fundrella, Clevenio, UpUp, and many other startups on the market.

Rebelvolt plans to use the funding for product development and go-to-market expansion.
