AI drones that reduce strike time to a few minutes. Quantum Systems and STARK present Hunter-Killer

German companies Quantum Systems and STARK have successfully tested the new Hunter-Killer combined reconnaissance and strike complex, designed for effective use in modern combat operations. The system has already proven its effectiveness on the front lines in Ukraine.

• The complex combines two battle-tested drones: the VECTOR reconnaissance drone from Quantum Systems and the VIRTUS kamikaze drone from STARK.

• The integration of both companies’ software creates a single sensor-to-shooter loop — a closed cycle from target detection to target engagement, reducing the time from reconnaissance to strike from hours to minutes.

• Unlike traditional ISR and strike systems, VECTOR and VIRTUS operate in a single information environment. This allows reconnaissance, target identification, engagement, and assessment of results to be performed in a matter of minutes.

VECTOR (Quantum Systems) is a vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) drone designed for reconnaissance missions. It has a flight duration of 180 minutes and a range of over 60 km. The system uses a secure mesh communication network and is equipped with artificial intelligence for automatic target detection and tracking. VECTOR has already been battle-tested in Ukraine and is used by NATO allies.

VIRTUS (STARK) is a loitering munition with AI for high-precision strikes. It also has VTOL and deploys within 10 minutes. The drone’s flight duration is 60 minutes, range is up to 100 km, and dive speed reaches 250 km/h. The warhead weighs 5 kg, and the development was carried out in cooperation with the Armed Forces of Ukraine to ensure maximum compliance with real combat conditions.
