NVIDIA invests in ElevenLabs amid strengthening tech cooperation between the US and the UK

NVIDIA, one of the leaders in the technology industry, has announced an investment in Polish-British startup ElevenLabs, which specializes in generative AI models for voice synthesis. This deal underscores the strengthening technological alliance between the US and the UK.

The investment was revealed in a conversation between NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang and ElevenLabs co-founder Mati Stanishevski.

• In a video posted by ElevenLabs, Huang praised the startup’s technology, noting that he uses their platform to create a digital version of his own voice. He emphasized the difference between technical and creative approaches to working with voice. Huang added that ElevenLabs’ technology allows you to convey emotions, and with them, “empathy” and “connection.”
• This investment is part of NVIDIA’s broader strategy. The company intends to invest £2 billion in British AI startups, focusing on the technology hubs of London and Cambridge. This initiative fits perfectly with the UK’s national strategy for AI development.
• The backdrop for this collaboration was the signing of the “Technology Pact” between the US and the UK. The $42 billion agreement was signed during President Donald Trump’s visit to the United Kingdom. It aims to create a “generational shift” in relations between the two countries by stimulating joint research in the fields of AI and quantum computing.

NVIDIA is a central player in this alliance, planning to invest up to £11 billion in British AI companies. The company intends to deploy 120,000 of its advanced graphics processing units (GPUs), which will significantly enhance British technological capabilities.

ElevenLabs, founded in 2022 by former Google and Palantir employees Piotr Dabkowski and Mati Stanishevski, has rapidly gained leadership in the voice technology market. In September 2025, the company’s market valuation reached $6.6 billion.
