Ukrainian startup NORDA Dynamics raises $1M investment to develop autonomous drone systems
Ukrainian defense technology company NORDA Dynamics has raised $1 million in a funding round to develop its products and expand its team. The company announced the news to AIN via a press release.
The lead investor in the round is Varangians, a Swedish investment company founded in 2025.
- Ukrainian funds Angel One and MITS Capital; angel syndicate United Angels Network; and American fund Unpopular VC also participated in the financing.
- NORDA Dynamics was founded in 2024 and specializes in developing autonomous control systems for UAVs that can operate without GPS or traditional communication channels and in conditions of active electronic warfare (EW).
- One of the company’s best-known products is the Underdog autonomy module, one of the most widely used solutions for automatically guiding drones to their targets in combat zones.

Additionally, NORDA Dynamics has developed a stabilization system for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) called StableLink. This system allows drones to be accurately controlled in difficult electronic warfare conditions and without GPS. It is already being used to perform autonomous missions.
“For us, this is not just about money; it’s also about confirmation that our war-tested technologies have a global future in the markets of our European and overseas partners. We were among the first in the world to scale autonomy modules for tens of thousands of modern warfare combat applications, and we are now ready for the next stage,” said Nazar Bihun, NORDA Dynamics’ co-founder and CEO.
The company will use the funds raised to expand production, develop new technologies, and scale its products. NORDA Dynamics engineers will continue working on autonomous systems capable of performing missions without operator involvement, even in the most challenging conditions.
