
Lithuanian startup MELP secures €1.25M investment to expand employee benefits platform in the UK
MELP, a Lithuanian company behind the employee well-being platform, has secured a new €1.25 million investment from Coinvest Capital and business angels. MELP will use funding to expand in the UK market and enhance its platform.

MELP, founded in 2022 by Vidmantas Šiugždinis, Robertas Šaltis, and Juozas Sargūnas, develops an online platform for HR and a mobile app for employees.

The platform allows HR specialists to better manage and communicate employee benefits, analyse the costs and usage, save time and money for employers.

While the mobile app also enables employees to choose benefits they want and buy them directly from a marketplace, increasing motivation and engagement of the team.
“The company is expanding not only geographically, but also by successfully enhancing its functionalities and focusing on innovation through the use of artificial intelligence – from task automation to an interactive intranet for employees. The MELP e-shop service, which allows employees to independently select additional benefits, is also growing rapidly – we project €3 million in sales through our employee benefits marketplace in 2025,” says Robertas Šaltis, Co-founder of MELP.
Investment details
The round was backed by Coinvest Capital and business angels. Coinvest Capital’s share in this funding round amounts to €800,000.

Coinvest Capital is an early-stage venture capital fund established by Lithuania’s national development institution, Investicijų ir Verslo Garantijos (INVEGA). The fund invests public capital entrusted by the EU and the Republic of Lithuania.

MELP will use funding to strengthen its position in the UK market, focusing on employee engagement, AI-driven innovations, and expanding its benefits’ marketplace.
