Lithuanian startup Kashimi raises $1.36M to scale payment infrastructure and expand globally

Kashimi, a Vilnius-based startup which develops alternative payment infrastructure for regulated and licensed financial institutions globally, has raised $1.36 million in pre-seed funding to expand its alternative payment infrastructure for licensed financial institutions. The round was co-led by Coinvest Capital and Impellent Ventures, joined by Plug and Play Tech Center and several international angel investors.

The round was co-led by Coinvest Capital and Impellent Ventures, joined by Plug and Play Tech Center and several international angel investors. Coinvest Capital share in this investment totals $749,984.

  • Coinvest Capital is an early-stage venture capital fund established by Lithuania’s national development institution, Investicijų ir Verslo Garantijos (INVEGA). The fund invests public capital entrusted by the EU and the Republic of Lithuania.

Kashimi will use investment to expand into European, UK, and U.S. markets, scale its payment infrastructure, and participate in Plug and Play’s 6-week GOAL program in Silicon Valley, gaining workshops, expert guidance, and opportunities to connect with potential partners.
