The Interreg MED Programme encourages you to participate in the Interreg Project Slam 2019 session, during the #EURegionsWeek, from 7th to 10th of October in Brussels.
What is the Interreg Project Slam 2019?
It’s an initiative featured by the Interact Programme, to promote innovative communication approaches related to the capitalisation of Interreg project results.
The aim is to identify high impact Interreg project examples from the different programmes. During the Interreg Project Slam session in Brussels, speakers (up to 3 per project) shall perform their experience in an attractive and original way that captivates the audience.
This is a great opportunity to target wider audiences, outside of the general group of Interreg stakeholders, and make your project visible. Besides that, you will get to know other initiatives that are taking place in Europe and take input from them.
Last year’s edition ended up in a great success for the Interreg MED Programme, thanks to the participation of Bluemed (Sustainable Tourism) and Locations (Urban Transports) projects. Bluemed alone took home two prizes: the social media prize, catching the highest number of likes among all six finalists, and 3rd place prize. Locations also did an excellent performance with a live sand presentation.
What are we looking for?
We search for Interreg MED projects tackling one of these themes:
• A Europe closer to citizens
• A greener Europe
• A smarter Europe
• A more connected Europe: mobility
• A more socially integrated Europe

1. The concept of the project and project information
An outline of maximum 3.000 characters, in English, describing the main project achievements so far and characteristics that are most attractive to the audience of the #EURegionsWeek. The concept should use creative ideas to communicate the results and achievements of the project.
2. One short video
– Presenting the project in the most communicative, significant and relevant manner, mentioning examples of the project’s results and achievements
– Format: AVI, MOV, MP4, WEBM – 16:9
– Length: maximum of 3 minutesResolution: minimum resolution 720dpi
If you apply, Email us about your interest to programme_med@maregionsud.fr and notify your project officer in the JS by 15th of April. Deadline for delivering the video and other materials to Interact is 30th April.
