
“Interreg GO!”: We are ready to shape the future of territorial cooperation!
For 35 years, Interreg has been a driving force behind European integration, promoting cross-border, transnational, interregional cooperation to foster growth, innovation, and inclusion across all regions of Europe.
This momentum continues with Interreg GO!, a key event taking place on 27-28 March 2025 in the symbolic twin cities of Gorizia and Nova Gorica, the 2025 European Capital of Culture.
The event will play a crucial role in shaping the post-2027 Interreg programmes, bringing together key stakeholders and decision-makers involved in consultations on the EU’s next Multiannual Financial Framework.
Discussions will focus on:
- Strengthening border security & coordinating migration responses
- Environmental challenges & disaster prevention
- Improving cross-border public services & people-to-people initiatives
- Cooperation with EU candidate & neighbouring countries
High-level speakers include:
- Mr. Raffaele Fitto, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission
- Ms. Marta Kos, EU Commissioner for Enlargement
- Mr. Aleksander Jevšek, Minister of Cohesion and Regional Development of Slovenia
