Reach new heights. Expand your services to foreign markets. Implement bold technological projects that few have ever implemented before.

How can you make these plans a reality rather than a dream?

The first step is to try your hand at the UK-Ukraine TechBridge, a joint initiative between the British and Ukrainian governments, aimed at strengthening technological cooperation between the UK and Ukrainian tech industries.

What are the initiative’s focus areas?

The UK-Ukraine TechBridge is built on four key pillars that support sustainable growth in the tech sector.

  • Trade

As part of the initiative, Ukrainian businesses work closely with UK buyers, suppliers, and commercial partners. Entrepreneurs are additionally advised on opportunities to work in overseas markets.

  • Investment

The UK-Ukraine TechBridge assists Ukrainian companies in establishing partnerships with investors, venture capital funds, and financial institutions in the UK.

  • Innovation

The initiative supports the research, development, and creation of various technologies and partnerships that address current challenges in multiple sectors, from digital transformation to industrial modernisation.

  • Skills

Ukrainian professionals can take their skills to the next level through mentoring, training programmes and partnerships based on years of UK experience.

These four areas are focused on increasing developments in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, agri-technology, educational technology, medical technology and humanitarian demining.

Why do tech companies choose the UK?

  • $21.3 billion — the amount of investment raised by UK tech startups in 2023.

  • $1 trillion+ — the value of the UK tech sector as of 2022 (the third largest in the world after the US and China).

  • 150+ unicorns — the number of unicorn tech companies in the UK (more than in France, Germany and Sweden combined).

Deus Robotics’ success as part of the UK-Ukraine TechBridge

Deus Robotics is a Ukrainian company that offers comprehensive solutions for robotic warehouse automation. The AI-based platform integrates robots from any manufacturer into a single intelligent system that increases the efficiency and effectiveness of their work. As a result, this system covers most warehouse automation needs.

Last year, Deus Robotics was one of twenty businesses that joined the TechBridge Investment Accelerator project in 2024. Its goal is to train and support Ukrainian startups in securing investment and expanding into the UK market. The programme has enabled Deus Robotics to build strategic partnerships in the UK, accelerate its growth, and strengthen its foothold in the region. Since completing the project, the 2024 cohort have collectively secured over $12 million in new business deals within just 12 months.

Deus Robotics entered into a successful partnership with DPD (UK), an international express delivery service. The team has developed a customised warehouse automation system, including specially developed AI-based software for warehouse robotics management, a user-friendly web application, and designed transport cages and Rack Robots from Deus Robotics.

This approach allows warehouse workers to focus on more strategic, value-added and less physically demanding tasks, while robots pick and transport goods independently.

Deus Robotics’ unique developments have been recognised by many prestigious awards:

  • Robotics & Automation Awards (Innovation in the Warehouse);

  • Logistics UK’s Logistics Awards (Most Innovative Product of the Year — Highly Commended);

  • The Tech Impact Awards (Best Economic Impact);

  • TechRound 100 — a list of the best startups revolutionising industries in the UK and Europe.

The company’s pioneering approach, bolstered by support from the UK-Ukraine TechBridge, is helping to scale next-generation solutions — already in action today.
