Google has unveiled a new AI model for generating images called Nano Banana Pro

Google has unveiled an updated model for generating and editing images — Nano Banana Pro.

This was reported by the company.

Nano Banana Pro is based on Gemini 3 Pro. It is the successor to the Nano Banana model, which Google unveiled a few months ago.

Nano Banana Pro can create more accurate and contextual images thanks to Gemini’s improved reasoning and knowledge.

The new model can create infographics, charts, recipe visualizations, and display real-time information such as weather or sports results.

The updated Nano Banana Pro better reproduces text directly on images. The model supports various fonts, styles, and languages, and can also localize the created text. Both short slogans and longer text blocks are supported.

Other features include the creation of complex compositions from multiple images while maintaining a consistent style, as well as studio-level creative control.

Users can change the camera angle, focus, scene lighting, and apply color correction. The model supports the creation of high-resolution content, including 2K and 4K.

Separately, Google introduced SynthID, which checks images for AI.

The company also uses visible watermarks to mark images generated by artificial intelligence.
