Ukrainian GigRadar has signed its second major deal this year. The company has acquired the freelance community Top Rated Club

GigRadar, a tech company founded by Ukrainians, announced the acquisition of Top Rated Club (TRC), one of Ukraine’s most prominent freelance communities.

This is the company’s second acquisition in 2025, following its integration into the AI startup Upsky’s platform.

Deal details

  • Top Rated Club, founded in 2022, has over 1,000 Ukrainian freelancers and agency owners working on the Upwork platform.

  • It is a closed community whose members make monthly contributions to its development and promotion and, in return, receive business advice and lectures from community mentors.

  • According to Vadym Ovcharenko, CEO of GigRadar, the acquisition of TRC adds a “human dimension” to the company’s technological component, which was strengthened by the acquisition of Upsky.

The merger with TRC will allow GigRadar to launch a new direction — Community & Academy. This direction is designed to provide freelancers and agencies with opportunities for training, experience sharing, and career development.

The company reports that thanks to the combination of technology (analytics and automation) and community, GigRadar users have already generated over $45 million in contracts on Upwork.
