FOX Entertainment invests in Ukrainian HOLYWATER — the companies will create 200 vertical series together

FOX Entertainment has signed an agreement with HOLYWATER, a Ukrainian company that develops vertical streaming and AI-generated content platforms.

The companies announced this to AIN.

  • As part of the partnership, FOX will invest in the development of the HOLYWATER ecosystem and plans to create more than 200 vertical series for the My Drama platform, including Billionaire Blackmail and Bound by Obsession.

  • As FOX Entertainment CEO Rob Wade noted, the collaboration is aimed at developing new digital storytelling formats and adapting content to the needs of younger audiences.

  • HOLYWATER co-founders Bogdan Nesvit and Anatolii Kasianov emphasized that the partnership will accelerate the development of vertical series and make them mainstream, rather than just a trend.

HOLYWATER, founded in Ukraine in 2020, has over 55 million users and combines creativity and AI to create vertical series. In a comment to AIN, the company shared information about the revenue from each such series — they can generate between $12 million and $15 million in revenue.

FOX Entertainment, for its part, continues to expand its portfolio of proprietary content and invest in the creative industry — following deals with The Lighthouse and collaboration with Gordon Ramsay.
