Estonian design-tech startup Flowstep secures $2.6M seed round by Supernode Global. The startup has a co-founder from Ukraine

Flowstep, an Estonian design-tech startup building an AI-native canvas for product design teams, has secured a $2.6 million seed round led by Supernode Global with participation from supporting investors. The company shared an announcement with AIN.

About Flowstep 

• Flowstep is a Tallinn-based design-tech company founded in 2023 by Estonians Kaarel Roben and Matt Clannachan, Finn Sami Nieminen, and Ukrainian Svyat Polishchuk. It’s offering an AI-native platform that helps product teams quickly transform ideas into production-quality designs. 

• The platform utilizes a combination of LLMs, reinforcement learning, canvas technology, and computer vision to generate detailed user flows, wireframes, and pixel-perfect designs. It provides full editing control, allowing designers to iterate with AI assistance or manually adjust designs as needed.

Investment details

The seed round was led by Supernode Global, with backing from Adesso Ventures, Angel Invest, Dnipro VC, Iron Wolf Capital, and several notable angels.

• Supernode Global is a London-based venture capital firm investing in early-stage startups that empower people to reach their full potential in areas like living, learning, creating, and connecting. 

• The firm focuses on the application layer and next-generation platforms, supporting ambitious founders who are building transformative businesses for consumers and the commercial ecosystems that support them.

This new round brings Flowstep’s total funding to $4.5 million and will drive team growth, the launch of enterprise-grade platform features, and U.S. sales. The company is also officially coming out of beta, opening up global access to its AI-native design platform.
