European Maritime Day 22

Ravenna, 19-20 May 2022

The European Green Deal and its key objectives require actions, investments, stakeholder input and public/private support. The new approach for a sustainable blue economy presented by the Commission in May 2021 highlighted the opportunities offered by blue economy in the context of the green recovery.

European Maritime Day 2022 will be the occasion to discuss and highlight key actions in the transition to clean and healthy oceans and a sustainable blue economy.

European Maritime Day 2022 takes place as a hybrid event in Ravenna on 19 and 20 May 2022.

High-level plenary sessions including inspirational speakers, leadership exchanges and stakeholders’ workshops attract experts and stakeholders from across Europe and beyond.

The following workshop is organised by Ocean Energy Europe, University of Siena, The Maritime Cluster of West Sweden and the Interact “Knowledge of The seas” network of which the Interreg MED Programme is part.
