The European Committee of the Regions (CoR) will hold the inaugural meeting of its new five-year mandate on 11-13 February, electing a new President and First-Vice President and form six thematic commissions . During its plenary in Brussels, following the Presidency election the CoR’s members will open the new mandate with a debate on the Conference on the Future of Europe with Dubravka Šuica, Vice-President of the European Commission in charge of Democracy and Demography, and the Croatian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The plenary will welcome, for the first time, its sixth and newest political group formed by the Greens.
