Polish space-tech Asynchronics closes pre-seed funding round to accelerate digital twin platform development

Asynchronics, a Polish space-tech company behind the cutting-edge NeXosim simulator, announced the closing of its pre-seed funding round. The investment was co-led by Sunfish Partners and Heartfelt.

About Asynchronics

  • Asynchronics is a Warsaw-based company founded in 2022 by Serge Barral and Adam Chikha. It’s creating an open-source platform for high-fidelity digital twins, aimed at accelerating spacecraft system development.

  • Their NeXosim-based platform enables faster, more accurate testing and validation, empowering engineers to build and test systems quickly while maintaining independence.

  • The company is focused on democratizing simulation technology and creating an open, vendor-neutral ecosystem where digital twins of physical and digital subsystems are easily accessible, supporting innovation in space and beyond.

Investment details

The investment was co-led by deep-tech venture firm Sunfish Partners and early-stage investor Heartfelt. The amount of the deal was left undiscovered.

  • Sunfish Partners is a Berlin- and Warsaw-based fund that invests at a pre-seed stage in deep-tech companies from Central & Eastern Europe with a focus on Space & Defense.

“This investment is the fuel that allows us to execute our vision. We’re scaling the team right now and targeting a public release of the marketplace in Q3 2025. Engineers will be able to select certified models, drop them into NeXosim and start running mission-critical scenarios in minutes,” COO of Asynchronics, Adam Chikha, commented.

  • Heartfelt is a Berlin-based venture capital firm that focuses on early-stage investments in innovative startups, particularly in the areas of health and wellness, as well as technology-driven solutions that improve quality of life.

With this pre-seed round, Asynchronics will expand its engineering staff, enhance NeXosim’s capabilities and onboard an initial cohort of hardware manufacturers and model developers ahead of the marketplace launch.
