Polish printing business Arti-Bau was acquired by Prime Label Group to strengthen digital label production

Prime Label Group, a leading label manufacturer in Central and Eastern Europe, has finalized the acquisition of shares in Arti-Bau, a Polish digital label printing company based in Lower Silesia. The company shared the news with AIN in a press release.

  • Arti-Bau is a Polish digital label printing company founded in 2012, specializing in self-adhesive labels using inkjet and narrow web technology. 

  • The company became a key player in the packaging industry by introducing Europe’s first hybrid label printing machine for low-volume runs, allowing cost-effective solutions for premium labels.

Acquisition details

Prime Label Group, that acquired Arti-Bau, is controlled by the Innova/6 SCA SICAV private equity fund, part of the Innova Capital group, and this transaction marks the eighth acquisition completed with Innova’s participation. 

  • Prime Label is a group of label printing companies with a portfolio that includes Arti-Bau, along with seven other companies across Poland, Slovenia, Estonia, and Romania, serving markets in Eastern and Western Europe.

  • Innova Capital is an independent private equity adviser operating from Poland and investing in majority buyouts in mid-sized enterprises doing business in Central and Eastern Europe. 

Previously this year, Innova Capital has acquired a majority stake in Proservice Finteco, a leading provider of investment fund administration services

The new acquisition strengthens Prime Label’s position in the field of digital label production, a segment that is rapidly growing in popularity.
