3DPrintED Project Update: Progress & Next Steps!
On February 4, 2025, the 3DPrintED team held an online meeting to review the project’s progress and key developments. The discussion focused on enhancing the 3DPrintED methodology and expanding dissemination efforts to reach more educators.
Advancing the 3DPrintED Methodology
We’re creating a practical and user-friendly framework to help teachers integrate 3D printing into their classrooms. Partners provided valuable feedback, and we’re working on:
- Simplifying complex concepts to ensure accessibility for all educators.
- Developing hands-on examples to illustrate how 3D printing can be used across different subjects.
- Producing step-by-step video tutorials, which will soon include voiceovers in multiple languages.
Expanding Our Dissemination Efforts
We are actively working to spread the impact of 3DPrintED and engage more educators in our mission! Our dissemination efforts include:
- Building a strong social media presence—regular updates are now shared on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Developing a dedicated project website to provide resources, news, and key information.
- Encouraging all partners to contribute by sharing updates within their networks and keeping the dissemination tracker up to date.
What’s Next?
- Teachers will start testing 3D printing activities with students.
- Official workshops will be launched, ensuring proper documentation for reporting.
- More engaging educational resources will be finalized and shared soon!
Stay tuned as we continue our mission to bring innovation and creativity into STEM education through 3D printing!
