
Polish cybertech 1Security secures investment to enhance Microsoft 365 security management
1Security, a Polish cybertech startup which addressing Microsoft 365 permission management issues, has secured funding from Digital Ocean Ventures. The investor shared an announcement on its Linkedin page.

The solution works in environments related to OneDrive and SharePoint, undertaking the objects like groups, files, folders, and shared drives, as well as the complexities of managing internal and external collaborators.

According to the company, its platform also extends the capabilities of Microsoft 365 in areas like mitigating permission creep, improving visibility and control over access rights, and introducing collaborative tools.
Previously this year, 1Security has announced the launch of their permission management product to the general public.
Investment details
The round was led by Krakow-based venture capital firm Digital Ocean Ventures. The exact amount of the deal was left undisclosed.

The fund’s focus is on investments in Polish companies with B2B and B2B2C models, however, it is open to occasional investments in foreign companies, which have a focus on the CEE area.
The funding will be used to enhance 1Security AI-driven security layer, focusing on real-time permission mapping, automated access correction, and sensitive data detection for Microsoft 365 and future cloud environments.
