$1.5 million for Mriia. Google has invested in the Ukrainian educational ecosystem

Google has announced that it will provide $1.5 million in funding for the Mriia public education ecosystem.

This was reported to AIN by own sources.

Agreement details

The funding will help with the large-scale implementation of Mriia in schools, the launch of pilot projects in kindergartens, and the attraction of over 500,000 users.

Particular emphasis is placed on the use of artificial intelligence to personalize learning, create individual educational trajectories, and automate routine tasks for teachers.

About Mriia

  • The project is being implemented with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Ministry of Education and Science in partnership with the EGAP Program.

  • The platform combines digital certificates, class schedules, educational content, and secure communications in a single application for students, parents, and teachers.

  • According to Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, more than 2,000 schools will be working with Mriia by September 2025, and testing in preschools is planned for next year.

Google emphasizes that supporting Ukrainian education is part of its long-term mission to open up new opportunities through technology.
