Today, the European Commission with eight partners – innovators and national and regional authorities – took a concrete step to address regulatory barriers to innovation in the area of electric vehicles. They signed an “Innovation Deal” entitled ‘From E-Mobility to recycling: the virtuous loop of the electric Vehicle’, which will tackle the problem of recycling and re-use of electric vehicle batteries.
