The 3rd Seminar of the INTERREG MED project with the acronym REMEDIO and full title: “REgenerating mixed-use MED urban communities congested by traffic through Innovative low carbon mobility sOlutions”, leaded by ARPA Veneto – Regional Agency for Environment Protection in Veneto Region, will take place on the 22nd May 2018 in Thessaloniki, Greece (9:00 am to 1:00 pm).

The title of the thematic seminar is “Sustainable Urban Mobility: Confronting Air Pollution and Climate Change”. Invited speakers representing local authorities (Metropolitan Development Agency of Thessaloniki SA), networks of cities (CIVINET CY-EL, MedCities, 100 Resilient Cities) and higher education institutions (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) will address the topics of:
– Traffic-related Pollutant Emissions and Air Pollution,
– Traffic-related Carbon Footprint,
– Innovative Urban Mobility Infrastructures.
The seminar is organized by the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and hosted by the Metropolitan Development Agency of Thessaloniki, SA in the New City Hall of Thessaloniki, Greece.
